The Cartwright Story
Back in 1934, Bill Cartwright had just survived the Great Depression and was looking for a way to support his large family. He was able to obtain a large truck and started advertising general hauling services. That truck soon led to more trucks, which led to more business and capacity, allowing us to expand into other markets and become who we are today: A leading supplier of global mobility, relocation, and moving services to private companies, the US military, and federal agencies.
While we no longer have the trucks, we still have the creative spirit, the commitment to excellence, and the grit that Bill Cartwright demonstrated those many years ago. The Cartwright Companies now comprises 14 different businesses, including Cartwright Relocation Services, Cartwright Global Mobility, Compass Moving, and Cartwright International.
