...I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you and give you some of my thoughts on the service provided by Lori Price.
 
I cannot begin to find the words to tell you how wonderful Lori has been throughout the entire move process.  While no move is ever without stress, since the beginning, Lori has made this the easiest move I’ve ever done.  She has been forthright with information whether the updates were good or bad.  She has been honest and compassionate.  She has always been well-informed.  But I think the most important thing that she’s done as my technician was to understand that I am a person, not just a case number and that my all of those little brown boxes were not just protective storage containers but actually all of my worldly possessions.  Never before in my numerous government moves with the US military have I ever felt so well-supported and cared for during the moving process.
 
Over the past several months, I’ve come to think of Lori as my friend.  She really seems to care.  It was only very recently that I learned that she is a new employee at Cartwright.  I NEVER would have known that she was anything but a seasoned veteran of hundreds, if not thousands of moves.  Writing to you seems to be the absolute least that I can do to let the managers and supervisors at Cartwright know what a phenomenal employee they have in Lori Price.

I am writing to commend Hiliary Lewis for her excellent service in assisting my husband and me with our move from Concord, NH to San Juan, PR.
 
First, Ms. Lewis constantly checked in to see if everything was going smoothly with the move.  She got in touch when a moving company employee was supposed to come to survey our household goods, when someone was supposed to come pick up our car, and when other moving company employees were supposed to come pack and ship our household goods.  When our goods were delivered in Puerto Rico, she was also checked in and was very helpful in promptly responding to all our questions, and especially in helping us get reimbursed for damage to a microwave.  
 
Second, she was very helpful in making sure we had all the necessary paperwork to ship our car and had it submitted in time to ship the car when we wanted to.
 
Third, she was extremely helpful when the car moving company was not working to get our import taxes waived and wasn't going to deliver the car to us.  She really went above and beyond in making sure that our car was delivered to us at a convenience location and that the car moving company remedied its mistakes.

I was first introduced to Lori while we were in the process of departing post.  She contacted us via email regarding the forms we would need for customs. She walked us through every step of the way as to what we were to expect with our shipment.  She gave weekly (and most time daily) updates.
Once we arrived back in the U.S., Lori welcomed us back home and provided a status regarding our UAB.  When our UAB arrived, she was in contact with us to provide convenient times and dates of delivery.  Once the UAB was delivered, she provided follow-up to ensure our shipment arrived and all was well.

We were ultimately surprised when we found out she would be our representative for our HHE and POV shipments also.  Our UAB/HHE shipment made it through customs in record time.  She coordinated delivery of both shipments and checked in daily to ensure we received our shipment as promised.
We experienced a few casualties with broken drinking glasses and damaged pictures.  When advised of what happened, she immediately provided us with the information to submit a claim.
Lori is absolutely fabulous! We are so happy with her service.  We will request Lori for all our logistics matters.

On behalf of my family, I would like to commend Dawne's assistance with my move.  Having endured three moves with the State Department prior to this one (which is my 4th), I can say without fear of contradiction that Dawne Kline has been—without a doubt—the most helpful person I’ve ever dealt with concerning a transitions to a new assignment.

I just wanted to be sure that you were aware that she’s been proactive (by letting me know that the clock was ticking but that she had not yet received the necessary paperwork for my transition from Embassy Moscow), timely in her responses to my emails as well as informative in her guidance on what I need to do next.  Do me a favor and clone her.  From where I’m sitting, Dawne has been great to work with.

Granted, the things I’ve outlined here are simple tasks, but they have made a huge difference (compared to my previous moves) for my peace of mind.

 This has been especially reassuring to me because as we awaited the arrival of our effects, we had the added stress of my departure for service in Iraq before our belongings arrived in the U.S.   Hence, my wife had to be the main pillar for overseeing the move -  not just getting our home ready to receive our belongings, but also track their whereabouts.  And in this latter matter, Justin’s assistance – always delivered in an unfailingly polite and prompt matter – was paramount. 

For example, when we were concerned about the delayed arrival of our POV, Justin was not only able to track the vehicle down, but arranged for direct delivery of our car from the port to our home, bypassing at least one intermediary stop.  My wife had the car promptly, easing one concern in a time of the many concerns inherent in any move.   The fact that she had one less stressor certainly was a relief not only for her, but for me over here, knowing her life was being made a bit easier.   And for that I am very grateful to Justin and Cartwright.  You are fortunate to have him on your staff.
