75 years and still moving in the right direction

This year, as we celebrate 75 years in business, many changes are taking place and new challenges lie ahead with these tough economic times. We can look back and be proud we are the same quality company that had its beginnings in the Great Depression.

Our founders, William, Sr. and Jesse Cartwright started a local moving services company in 1934 with a single truck and the determination to succeed. Their formula, one that remains integral in our culture today, was quality service, delivered with honesty and integrity.

Cartwright was a family enterprise. Five of William & Jesse's seven children played key roles in the growth and diversification of the Cartwright Companies: 

                  

During 2005 Mike Cartwright, after completing his 45th year of active service with the company, assumed the role of CEO and the daily operations of the company were transitioned to the third generation of family leadership.

We look forward to our continuing efforts to improve the Cartwright Companies and our commitment to our customers. We will be implementing a new computer system, launching new websites, increasing our advertising and growing a business started with one simple theme; quality service delivered with honesty and integrity!
